Robert Paul Nester

Born in Montgomery County, PA. He was the last surviving son of 7 children of the late Elsie Mae (Leister) and Lawrence Nester.

Robert was a Barber by trade for many years and he also worked as a box assembler at Anchor Glass for 15 years until the business closing.

He served in the US Air force as an Airman 1st class from 1954 to 1958

And was a past Commander of the Boyertown American Legion and a Member of the Palm Legion.

He is survived by his daughters, Vivian L. wife of Lawrence Hulse of Windsor, NY. Rev. Debra L. wife of Richard Hilbert of Hereford and Karen M. wife of Randall Hilbert of Pottstown, there are 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Robert is predeceased by his twin sister, Elizabeth B. (Nester) Ferrara.

Funeral Services will be held at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc. 111 N. Reading Ave. Boyertown, PA. 19512. Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
