Robert C. Marriott

Robert C. Marriott, 77, husband of Gloria P. (Miller) Marriott of Colonial Road, Perkiomenville died Thursday, August 19, 2010 in the Sanatoga Center, Lower Pottsgrove Township, Montgomery County, PA.

Born in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of the late Gertrude Marriott.

Robert was a 1950 graduate of Royersford High School. He was a member of Falkner Swamp United Church of Christ, Gilbertsville. He drove tractor trailer for several companies. He was a self-employed farmer. For 54 years he had a music group, Rainbow Four plus Two, where sang and played guitar.

Surviving with his wife, Gloria is a son, Robert C. Marriott, Jr, husband of Penny of Perkiomenville and two grandchildren Curtis and Meagan Marriott.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Thursday, August 26, 2010 at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 111 North Reading Avenue, Boyertown.

A viewing will be Thursday between 10 – 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Falkner Swamp Cemetery, Gilbertsville.
