Robert Lee Erb

Robert L. Erb, 88, of Boyertown, husband of the late Doris L. (Moyer) Erb, passed away at his residence on Sunday, July 19, 2015. Born in Boyertown, he was the son of the late Nora E. (Haring) and George S. Erb.

Robert was a graduate of Boyertown Area High School. He served in the US Army, stationed in Germany. He was employed by Boyertown Oil Company, working in service and delivery for many years. He also worked for Ajax Aluminum Products making windows and doors.

He was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Boyertown and The Friendship Hook and Ladder Company #1.

Robert is survived by his daughters, Bobbie L., wife of Craig L. Eddinger of Boyertown; Bonnie L., wife of Rick Moatz of Barto; a son, Kim A. Erb of Boyertown. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc. 111 North Reading Ave. Boyertown, PA 19512 on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 10:00 AM. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 9:00 to 10:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Robert’s name to the National Kidney Foundation, Inc., 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY 10016.
