R. Hunter Matthews

Born in Pottstown he was a son of the late Eleanor (Oberholtzer) and Russell P. Matthews.

Russell worked for 37 years at Mrs. Smith’s Frozen Foods and was last employed as a Director of Fruit Purchasing.

He is survived by his children, Jeremy H. Matthews Fiancée of Colby J. Weaver of Cherry Hill, NJ and Marissa C. Matthews companion of Milan W. Holland of Pottstown. Grandchildren, Mileena N.L. Holland and Milasia N.N. Holland both at home. Hunter is predeceased by his sisters, Laura Smith and Dorothy Reinhart.

Memorial services will be held at Christ Lutheran Church 222 Niantic Rd. Barto, PA. On Saturday September 8, 2018 at 11:00 AM.

Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
