Born in Pottstown, PA. She was a daughter of the late Eleanor (Heydt) and Paul M. Shaner.
Phyllis was a homemaker. She enjoyed going to the shore each year and spending time with her family. She loved to play board games and cards as well. Phyllis will be deeply missed by friends, family, and all who knew her.
She was a member of New Hanover United Methodist Church 2211 Swamp Pike. Gilbertsville, PA 19525.
Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Jennifer L. Brown of Frederick, PA. Brother, Randy Shaner of Gilbertsville. Granddaughters, Rebecca H. wife of Steven Richmond of Pottstown and Marissa A. Himes of Mohnton. A Son in Law, Timothy N. Himes of Pottstown. Phyllis is predeceased by her daughter Lisa A. Himes who passed away in May of 2021.
A celebration of life will be held by the family at New Hanover United Methodist church on Saturday, August 28th, 2021. Receiving of friends and family will be from 9:30-10:45 AM. The service will be at 11:00 AM followed by a luncheon at 12:00 PM.
