Nancy Jane (Clymer) Mastrocola, age 63, beloved wife of Nicholas J. Mastrocola Jr. of Sanatoga, PA, passed away peacefully in her residence on Wednesday, November 30, 2022. She was born on April 4, 1959 in Abington, PA to Jane (Stuhltrager) and the late William Clymer.
In 1982, Nancy married the boy next door and love of her life Nick. Together they’d move to Sanatoga and start their family. Nancy liked to go to the beach, especially the family’s yearly trip to the Outer Banks where she could walk for hours on the beach collecting seashells, shop, and play miniature golf. Nancy enjoyed doing crafts and for many years, her and Nick made Christmas crafts for the whole family. Ever the social butterfly, Nancy and Nick hosted many card game nights and enjoyed family camping and beach trips with the neighbors. She loved her two cats, Crystal and Buddy, very much. Nancy was a member of the former First United Methodist Church in Pottstown, PA.
Nancy held various jobs over the years but her most cherished position, and the one that she excelled at the most, was being a mom. She never missed a swim meet, field hockey game, or Girl Scout trip. Growing up, the Mastrocola house was the place to be, all were welcome, and “Nance” was seen as a second mom to many of her daughters’ friends. As far as mothers and grandmothers go, she was the best you could ask for. To be loved by her was truly a gift.
She will be sorely missed and survived by her devoted husband Nicholas J. Mastrocola Jr.; mother Jane (Stuhltrager); daughters Natalie J., wife of Derek A. Myers and Amy L., wife of David Seyfried; grandchildren Jackson and Jillian Myers, Olivia and Emma Seyfried; brother Ken (Julie) Clymer; sister-in-laws Patti (Rob) Schultz, Janet Mastrocola, and Diane (Dave) Osborne; brother-in-law Steve (Betsy) Mastrocola; and many nieces and nephews. Nancy is predeceased by her beloved father William Clymer and her in-laws Audrey and Nicholas Mastrocola Sr. whom she loved so dearly.
The family would like to offer thanks to the many caregivers and staff of Home Instead and Patient Care Hospice (formerly Brookdale Hospice) for their loving care and support throughout the years.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday December 7, 2022 at 11am at the Good Shepherd Chapel in Limerick Garden of Memories. A visitation will be held prior at the chapel from 10am to 11am. Burial will immediately follow the service at Limerick Garden of Memories in Limerick, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Nancy’s honor to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
