Julia Reppert, 91, of Boyertown, passed away on Saturday, July 7, in her home. She was the widow of Harvey D. Reppert. Born in 1927 in Poigham, Germany, Julia was one of nine children of the late Josef Wimmer and Maria (Wagner) Wimmer. Julia met Harvey while he was stationed near her home during his service in the US Army, and the two were married in the United States in 1948. Julia became a naturalized US citizen on November 7, 1951. She was a member of the Earl Township Ladies’ Auxiliary, Earl Township Historical Society and Christ Lutheran Church, Spangsville. Julia was employed for 43 years at Tung-Sol which later became Wagner Lighting Division of Cooper Automotive. She was an avid gardener, fond of animals, and enjoyed spending time with family. She is survived by daughter, Ingrid Weil, of Boyertown; grandchildren, Derek Weil, and his wife Angela (Peterson) Weil, of Layton, UT, Erica (Weil) Creed, and her husband Michael W. Creed, Jr., of Boyertown and five great-grandchildren who enjoyed stories and board games with “Gram.” A viewing will begin at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 14, 2018, at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 111 North Reading Ave., Boyertown. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
