Jane G. Andrews

Jane Andrews passed away peacefully in her home on the morning of Sunday, October 17, 2021, at the age of 88. She was born on December 9, 1932, to Henry Vincent and Linnett (Jackson) Andrews at her home in Wayne, PA. Jane was the third of four daughters born to Henry and Linnett and was the mother of William Lytle Redditt III (Deborah), Nancy Jane Redditt, Anne Carolyn Celentano (Paul), and Thomas Andrews Redditt. She was gifted with 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Thomas and each of her sisters, Janice, Alice, and Virginia.

Jane graduated from Radnor High School and moved on to Philadelphia General Hospital School of Nursing. Later in life, she would further her education by attending West Chester University, where should earn her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology, and her Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Psychology.

Jane worked as a psychiatric nurse in the Paoli area until retirement age, but she would continue to work part-time as a school nurse in the Phoenixville Area School District until she retired completely at 80 years of age.

Jane was a devout Christian and loved nothing more than her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. One of her fondest memories was of her trip to the Holy Land and her believer’s baptism in the biblical River Jordan. She was a long-time attendant of Calvary Bible Church in Phoenixville until she moved in with her granddaughter and her family in Barto, PA when she joined Butter Valley Community Church in Bally.

A celebration of life for Jane at Butter Valley Community Church in Bally, PA will be announced at a later date. Interment will be at Philadelphia Memorial Park in Frazer at a future date and will be private.
