Helen J. Christman Smith

Born in Boyertown she was the daughter of the late Beulah (Eddinger) and Nathan Christman.

She was co-owner with her husband of the Rockville Tavern & Bingo Hall.

Helen was a member of the Pikeville Sportsmen’s Relief Association, and an avid Phillies Fan. She enjoyed keeping with friends at local diners.

She is survived by a daughter, Patricia A., wife of Kyle P. Loder of Mohrsville, PA; a son, Jack A., husband of April R. Smith of Boyertown; five grandchildren, Carly, Hallie and Devon Smith, Jason Moyer and Rayna Spaide; step-granddaughters, Sarah and Samantha Spaide; great-granddaughters, Elizabeth and Lydia Moyer; a sister, Grace, wife of Thomas Herb and a sister, Sarah, widow of Charles Endy both of Boyertown; a brother, Leonard “Sonny” Christman of Oley. Predeceased by Brothers, Billy and Harold Christman.

Memorial services will be 10 a.m., Friday, April 1, 2011 at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 111 North Reading Avenue, Boyertown.

Relatives and friends will be received Friday between 9 – 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

Inurnment will be in Union Cemetery, Boyertown at the convenience of the family.
