Born at home in Bally, PA, he was the seventh child of 13 born to the late Florence (Mutter) and Harvey E. Bauman.
He was last employed by Great American Knitting Mills as a supervisor for 31 years, retiring in 1998. Previously he worked for Weller and Updegrove Construction as a plasterer for many years. He also drove a school bus for Quigley Bus Service for over 20 years.
Frank was a devoted husband and father to his 4 Ks. He had many hobbies and pastimes including drawing and painting, camping, golfing in his younger years, and woodworking. Frank loved to tinker—he could fix anything.
Frank and Barbara were avid RVers and proud of the fact that they traveled to 49 states, Canada and Mexico, none of it by plane. They made many lifelong friends from all over the country in their travels.
Frank was a lifelong member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church 610 Pine St. Bally, PA 19503.
He is survived by his children, Keith B. Bauman of Reading, Kyle A. husband of Lisa B. (Berger) Bauman of Merritt Island, FL and Kim A. Moyer of Boyertown. Siblings, Eleanor Weinsteiger of Barto, Ruth Heydt of New Berlinville and Roger "Butch" Bauman of Bally. 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren also survive him. Along with his parents, he is predeceased by his oldest son Kevin, brothers Gerald, Kenneth, Donald, Robert, Ernest, Richard and sisters Justine, Georgina, and Jean.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Most Blessed Sacrament Church on Friday August 9, 2024 at 11:00 AM.
Family and friends may call from 10:00 to 10:45 AM Friday at Church. Burial will be in
Most Blessed Sacrament Church Cemetery, Bally.
