Dorothy L. Gruber, age 98, wife of the late Paul R. “Jiggs” Gruber, of Boyertown, PA passed away on October 8, 2022 at Chestnut Knoll. On August 5, 1924 she was born in Pottstown, PA to the late Ruth (Fegley).
Dorothy worked in the Accounting Department at Dana Corporation for 36 years. She was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Boyertown, PA.
Dorothy is survived by her nephew Gene Gruber of Gilbertsville, PA, brother-in-law Ronald Gruber of Colorado, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home (111 North Reading Ave, Boyertown PA 19512) on Friday, October 14, 2022 at 11am. A viewing will be held prior at the funeral home from 10am to 11am. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Boyertown, PA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dorothy’s honor to St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church (45 North Reading Ave, Boyertown PA 19512).
