Charles "Linny" L. Rhoads

Born in Boyertown he was the son of the late Norman M. and Anna C. (Grabert) Rhoads. He was a 1940 Boyertown High School graduate.. Linny was a WWII Army Veteran; a member of Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, Boyertown. A life member of Pike Township Sportsman's Athletic Association and the Friendship Hook & Ladder Fire Company, Boyertown. He was a Specialist Tech for the former Boyertown Auto Body Works for 44 years retiring in 1987.

He is survived by two daughters, Karen A. (Rhoads), wife of Robert B. Winter of Cogan Station, PA and Kathleen K. (Rhoads) wife of Harold H. Stoyer of Lititz; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 111 North Reading Avenue, Boyertown. The Reverend William E. Harner, Jr. will officiate.

A viewing will be Wednesday between 1 - 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Boyertown.
