He was the loving husband of Shirley (Woodley) Lorah Weller; stepdaughter Cindy Carl (husband Ernie Carl); stepson Tom Lorah (wife Jill Herb); A niece Billie Resch (husband Mike Resch); and a grandniece Michelle (Shelly) Esterly (husband Jay Esterly).
He was "Poppi" to step grandchildren Matthew, Brandi & Brandon as well as step great grandchildren Nicole, Jayden, Stacy (Sweet Pea), Brooks & Makenna.
He served in the Korean Conflict (1952-1954) US Army gunnery sergeant. He loved to share is military stories with other veterans.
Carl worked 37 years at Ajax Products & 17 years at Hollenbach Home Ctr.
He was a member of Good Shepherd UCC Boyertown
A life member of Friendship Hook & Ladder Co. Boyertown, a 62 year member & the youngest post Commander of Charles B. Yerger Post 471 American Legion, Boyertown.
Funeral Services will be held at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc. 111 North Reading Ave. Boyertown, PA 19512. On Friday April 1, 2022 at 11:30 AM.
Family and friends may call Friday at the funeral home from 10:00 to 11:30 AM.
Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Boyertown.

Carl touched many people with his wonderful sense of humor and wit. He enjoyed watching & feeding the birds and lived life to the fullest. He will be missed by many.
The family would like to give special thanks to Jessica Lorah (caregiver) for all the TLC she gave Carl during his final adventures. ALSO Thanks to Southeastern hospice nurses Debra & Leilyn for their wonderful care in the final days of Carl's time with us.
