Geoffrey Lloyd Brown

Geoffrey Lloyd Brown of Amherst NY. On December 24, 2023. At the age of 106 he entered heaven rejoicing, shouting hallelujah for the last week. Geoffrey was affectionately called Papa and the beloved husband of the late Mary Brown; loving father to Hazel (Richard) Holland – Sasher, Mervyn (Helene) Brown; cherished stepfather of Linda Gillick, Roy (Mary) Phillips, John (Carol) Phillips and Lori (James) Gondek. Geoff is survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. He also was loving cared for by his stepdaughter Lori Gondek, Granddaughter Amy Moran and the staff at Fallon Weinberg PACE program where he was cherished . The family has so many memories to cherish. The Town of Amherst will miss the resident motor scooter that cuts in and out of traffic on Millersport Hwy., all the visits to the pool at the JCC. and Amherst Library. He will also be greatly missed by his many friends. A Celebration of Geoffrey’s life will be held on March 16, 2024 with a 10AM Visitation and 11AM Memorial Service at Evangel Assembly of God 8180 Greiner Road Williamsville NY 14221.Geoffrey was a longstanding member of the Evangel Assembly of God and was passionate about the Buffalo Adult & Teen Challenge program that provides hope, healing, and a future to those who struggle with life-controlling issues.
