My Aunt Diane was a special kind of person. As I read through all the wonderful messages everyone has wrote about her, it truly reflects her in every possible way. She became an independent woman at very young age which is something I admire. She never let anything or anyone stand in her way! I'm thankful that I was able to be a part of her life. She told me just recently something that resonates in my mind often, "Keep strong, know yourself, be true to you, it's the only way you will be able to love someone else!" So Deen Been fly high...watch over us...we love you and miss you!

I worked at Roswell Park with Dianne many years We had lunch together every day.Condolences to her family.

I was very sad to learn of the passing of my friend and mentor. I worked for and with Diane for many years. She taught me so much about Nursing, homecare, business, life, love, being a Mom, "being on time means you're late". She commanded respect and her team would do anything for her. She treated us like family, our matriarch. She was our "Lladro Nurse". She will be sorely missed and always remembered as our "best boss ever". Rest in peace DCB.

One of the most influential people I've ever had the privilege to know and work for. She was family.  She was the gold standard of respect, professionalism, and ethics.  She shaped my earlier years as a nurse and even a wife and mother. A dear dear friend.

Diane was Hysterical and had an arsenal of one liners any top end comedian would be impressed with. Incredibly smart, her work and patients were a huge part of her life second only to her family; her Husband Paul, Kids ( My sister Sarah and I (PJ) and her two granddaughters Evelyn And Helen...Her dog Luke has to be mentioned as well.

To my beloved NY family, 
My heart is sad beyond belief for the loss of Cousin Diane. Diane was always such a joy to be around; she was a loving person with a contagious laugh and an amazing sense of humor.  She won the hearts of my children and became Aunt Diane' from the moment they met.  She had a special place in our hearts; we only wish we had the opportunity or had made time to have enjoyed her spunk and energy more often.  We will surely miss her, but what we do have are very fond memories of Diane during a number of her Florida vacations over the years.  It is our memories of such a wonderful, loving and fun-loving person like Diane that helps to comfort us all and turn our sadness into peace. I am so saddened to learn of Diane's passing. She was such a true friend to me and my family over so many years. She was one of my first friends in Amherst, and we had a lot of fun times and silly jokes together. Diane was also generous in inviting the Currans for Christmas Eve every year and supporting my mother when she became ill. Such a big heart. I will miss her laugh and innate kindness.
