Ruth Eicher and Family,
Please accept my sincere condolences over the loss of your dear Husband and Father of your children.  As you know, we worked together as colleagues with yet another departed great Man, Soldier and Leader,  LtGen Larry Skibbie, at the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA),and Bill of course also served on active duty with Larry.  They are together once again, planning as usual, only this time for the future safe arrival of family members and friends when they will join them.  Though saddened, I'm pleased I was able to say hello to you at Arlington National Cemetery.  God Bless You All.

It was with great sadness that I read of Bill's passing.  I enjoyed working with him at St. Matthew's when he was Chairman of the Buildings and Grounds.  He always was upbeat,  positive, and sometimes very funny.  You have my deepest sympathy.  The world will surely miss Bill, a true gentleman.  --Barbara Hailey

We sadly note the passing of a fine gentleman, distinguised Army senior leader, dedicated father and husband, a dear friend, and mentor. Some of our fondest memories are connected to General Eicher and his wonderful family. We will miss him and hold the memory of his friendship and kindness close to our hearts. To The Eicher Family - Words can not express our appreciation for MG Eicher.  He was an outstanding mentor for me, an officer and a gentleman in every sense.  We shall always remember his smile, his expressions and love of all of his fellow persons. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Eicher Family at this time.

Dearest Susan, I am so sorry for your loss.  I cannot believe we both have lost our dear fathers, and 110 days apart.  GOD was ready for them to come home.  And they are at peace now.  My condolences to you and your entire family. Hugs, Teresa
