Thomas Allen Gildersleeve, Sr. of Crofton died Saturday, August 2, 2014. Son of Shirley Gildersleeve and the late Walter Gildersleeve. He is survived by children Lauren Jagger (Robert Jagger) and Thomas A. Gildersleeve, Jr. (Rachel Barnes), siblings Steve, Larry and Valerie Gildersleeve and Linda Ponta, grandchildren Abbigail and Aaliyah Jagger and Alexis Gildersleeve. He was predeceased by his granddaughter Kailey E. Gildersleeve.
He loved the Dallas Cowboys, cooking, the Yankees, collecting knives and baseball cards, and worked for Giant for over 35 years.
Family will receive friends Thursday, August 7, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Robert E. Evans Funeral Home, 16000 Annapolis Rd. Bowie, MD 20715. A graveside service will take place at Pipe Creek Cemetery, 26 N. Pipe Creek Rd. , Union Bridge, MD 21791 Friday, August 8, 2014 at 1 pm.
