Shirley Ann Taylor a 44-year resident of Bowie, Maryland found peace on January 21, 2024, after a battle for the last two months of septic shock. Shirley was born on October 25, 1939 in Louisburg, West Virginia, she graduated from Frankford High School in 1958.
She later moved to Maryland and worked for Euro Motors in Silver Spring for over 32 years. While working for Euro Motors initially in tag and title, she rose to become Comptroller, a position that wasn’t common for someone with a high school diploma let alone a woman.
Shirley was a member of the American Legion, and Mount Oak Church. She enjoyed scrapbooking, making cards for soldiers, crafts, and enjoyed traveling especially Alaska. She will never be forgotten by her children and great grandchildren.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husbands; Lawrence Rowe, Frederick Taylor and Skip Golden. As well as two brothers.
She is survived by her brothers, Bill, Roger and Dick Boggs all of Louisburg, WV, and John Boggs of Springfield, MO, her children Lawrence Rowe, Mark Rowe, of Bowie, MD, Kevin Zieders of Glen Burnie, MD, and Sharon Janof of Kansas City, KS, her grand-children Jodi Kellam of Catonsville, MD, Ashley Sprinkel of Arizona, Devon Zeiders of Greenbelt, MD, Chrissy Zeiders of Glen Burnie, MD, Isaiah Zeiders of Glen Burnie, MD, and Erica Janof of Kansas City, KS, as well as five great-grandchildren
