Robert Harold Richards

On Monday, July 10, 2017 of Bowie, Maryland. Husband of the late Marilyn Louise Richards; father of Susan Richards White (Michael) and the late Marcia Richards; brother of William and James Richards; grandfather of Abigail and Benjamin Dinegar, and Malcolm White. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 pm, Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Chapel, 16501 Annapolis Road, Bowie, Maryland. Interment is at the church cemetery.

“Bob” Richards was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin (Madison). He was an officer in the United States Army stationed in Thule, Greenland. For more than 30 years he served in the federal government, first as an auditor for the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and subsequently as a financial management specialist with the Federal Transit Administration.
