Michael Phillip Abernethy

Michael “Mike” Phillip Abernethy, of Bowie, MD found peace on January 15, 2018. Mike was born in Washington DC on November 5, 1957. Mike worked and retired from the Government printing office, during his free time mike enjoyed the outdoors, camping and history.

Mike is survived by his beloved wife Terry Abernethy, whom he married on October 22, 1983, his loving children, Michael Abernethy of St. Leonard, MD and Christine Abernethy of Lusby, MD, his caring siblings, Leo Abernethy of Columbia, MD, Tom Abernethy of Accokeek, MD, Donald Abernethy of Glen Burnie, MD, Elizabeth Feeney of Virginia, Mary Perry Fox of Welcome, MD, Cathy Henderson of Nokesville, VA, and Joan Abernethy of California. Mike also leaves behind his 4 grandsons. Mike was preceded in death by his two siblings, Wayne Abernethy, and Blanche Ringley.

The family invites friends to a memorial gathering, on January 23, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Robert E. Evans Funeral Home, 16000 Annapolis Road, Bowie, MD
