Karen Anita Gardner of Glenn Dale passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2020. Karen is the wife of Russell Kessler Gardner; mother of Deborah Harrison and her husband Brett and Dawn Gibson and her husband Chris; sister of Linda Mays, Donna Craigo and Jill Holliday; grandmother of Nathan, Amanda, Kyle and Heather; great-grandmother of Daniel, Logan and Laila. Karen was a member of the Eastern Star Ruth Chapter #7 and served as the Past Matron. Family and friends will gather at the Robert E. Evans Funeral Home, 16000 Annapolis Road, Bowie, Maryland 20715 on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm with an Eastern Star Service at 7:30 pm. A graveside service will be at 11 am on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, 3401 Bladensburg Road, Brentwood, Maryland. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Eastern Star Scholarship Foundation.
