She fell asleep tapping her toes to the beat of her favorite Dixieland music.
The oldest daughter of Beulah O. and Bertrand B. Robbins, deceased of Washington, D.C. She was the devoted wife of 43 years of Albert W. Brown of Washington, D.C, and loving mother of Carolyn “Bunny” Brown Butler of Gold Canyon, AZ and Wayne A. Brown of Riverdale, MD.
She is survived by one sister Mary E. Cross of Silver Spring, MD, son Wayne and daughter-in-law Debbie, daughter Bunny and son-in-law Patrick. In addition, Tootsie has eleven grandchildren, two of which predeceased her, six great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Tootsie had a full and joyous life.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Robert E. Evans Funeral Home at 16000 Annapolis Rd, Bowie, MD with Visitation on Thursday February 20, 2020 from 11 am to 1 pm, with service following at 1 pm.
Internment will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 4111 Pennsylvania Ave, Suitland-Silver Hill, MD.
