Gerald A. Thomas, Jr.

Gerald Anthony Thomas Jr, 60, was born August 15, 1963 to Sandra Thomas and Gerald A Thomas, Sr. On Tuesday, December 19, 2023, Gerald Jr entered into eternal rest, at his home in Silver Spring, Maryland. Gerald Jr was affectionately known as "Go-Go," a nickname given to him by his friends and family where he grew up in Palmer Park and Cabin John. Gerald Jr received his education from the Prince George's County Public Schools.

Gerald Jr loved attending family cookouts and going to car shows which allowed him to spend quality time with family and friends. He had a deep passion for trucks and old school cars. His world-famous blue semi-truck was his pride and joy. He would spend his free time traveling the US, exploring new places, and enjoying the open road. He also enjoyed fishing and being in nature. Gerald Jr also had a gift for drawing.

Gerald Jr was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elizabeth White, Rodney White, Norvella Taylor, and George Edward Thomas; Cynthia McKinney, Norvella Taylor, Diane White, Ronald McKinney Sr., and James Taylor.

Gerald Jr, is survived in death by his children: Tenia Lee, Keshia Thomas, Al Hasan Rashida, Gerald Thomas III, Matthew Thomas, and Hazir Jamil Ayubi; His siblings Ophelia Ross and Darin Thomas Sr.; aunts, Pandora White, Juanita Workman, Paulette Steward, Celestine Taylor, Celeste Taylor, and Diane Mackal; uncles, Rodney White (Ann), Austin White Sr, Pete White, Jerome White (Chung), and Robert Taylor Sr (Deborah); 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; and a host of extended family members and dear friends.

A memorial visitation for Gerald will be held Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Robert E. Evans Funeral Home, 16000 Annapolis Road, Bowie, MD 20715, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM.
