On Friday, August 5, 2016 of Bowie MD. Beloved husband of Marie Leahy; father of George J. Leahy III, Tom Leahy (Kim), Anne Marie Sweetin (Steve) and Theresa Leahy; brother of Stephen Leahy. Also survived by six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Relatives and friends may call at the Robert E. Evans Funeral Home, (Route 450, Racetrack Road), Bowie, MD on Thursday, August 11 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Friday, August 12, 10 a.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Chapel, Bowie MD.
