

She received her early education at the William B. Evans Elementary School in Yeadon, Pennsylvania and graduated from Bartram High School in South-West, Philadelphia.
Moving to Washington, D. C. in 1951 she began her career with the Federal Government working for the U. S. Marine Corp for 35 years as a Budget Analysis.
She was preceded in death by her husband Rev. James B. Greer from Conroe, Texas.
“Frankie” as she was lovingly called by her family, possessed a strong personality with a stern spirit, speaking frankly, yet, imbued with a warmness of heart that was filled with compassion and love.
Knows as Sister Greer by her beloved church family was a devoted Christian and Faithful servant. She was a hard worker involved in many auxiliaries: Original member of the Senior Choir; L.N. Forbes Gospel Choir; President of the Mother Ministry; Hospitality Lady Northern District Union, she was known to sing a solo when it was requested by her husband Elder Greer. She was also a Mother of Faith Temple No. 2 Free Will Baptist Church. President Nurses Ministry over 20 years.
She is preceded by sisters Mary E. Robinson, Anna L. Newman and a brother James Rivers. She leave to cherish her memory, a sister Cynthia J. Watson of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a brother Stanley Hill of Eldridge, Maryland, a special niece “Sissy” Cynthia L. Johnson of Bowie, Maryland and a host of other relatives and friends.
Family will receive friends at the Faith Temple No. 2 Original Free Will Baptist Church, 211 Maryland Park Drive, Capitol Heights, Maryland 20743 on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Maryland National Memorial Park, 13299 Baltimore Avenue, Laurel, Maryland 20707. Time of fellowship to follow after the graveside service at the Church.
