Born in La Plata, Maryland on February 4th, 1940, Bayne was a 1957 graduate of Calvert County High School.
A U.S. Army Veteran, he was stationed in Hawaii. After his honorable discharge, he became a long time employee of the Government Printing Office. In his retirement, he was a well-liked and requested driver in Crofton area for Coach and Courier.
In addition to taking his two favorite Yorkies, Mary and Abigail for rides around the neighborhood, his favorite pastime was vacationing with his friends from Good Time Travel.
Bayne is survived by his wife, Sandra Jett, and his stepsons, Robert and Jason Jett, daughters-in-law, Jamie and Mandi, grandchildren, Taylor, Jason Jr., Trey, and Logan. His brother, James Phillips, sister-in-law, Libby, niece, Julie Jones, and nephew, Paul Phillips.
The family will be honoring their beloved privately.
