I have just watched David's beautiful video and  I was privileged to be present at his funeral.  David's life has touched me greatly.  He has grown up surrounded by such a loving family.   My heart and prayers are with you.   May you be comforted by the Lord Jesus.

I did not know David too well, but I had the pleasure of being around him when I traveled to Philadelphia in April of this year for a wrestling weekend. He was a pleasure to be around and besides then, I typically talked to him online. I just wish I could have done more for him.

I will always remember what I had with David. Through my troubles, he had brought a smile back to my face. He was so sweet and caring. I'll never forget being in the car listening to "Just the Way You Are" and the line being "'Cause girl you are amazing the just the way you are." He sent me a text saying that at the same time. While it was really him who was amazing in my eyes. I will always love him and keep him in my heart and prays. Rest in peace David and we will see each other again some day.

Dear Patty, Glenn, Gina, and family.  My you know that David is at peace and that he loved you dearly.  His pain has turned to phenomenal joy and he is enveloped with Jesus' everlasting love and mercy. We all yearn for that abiding presence and friendship here on earth. He will be saving a place for each of you at a table where peace and friendship are always in abundance.  Remember the joy he brought you...that is the most important thing.  David's chemical imbalance was just like having diabetes, and it just wore him out. 
I will remember your family in a special Mass this weekend at the Carmelite Monastery in La Plata Maryland, the first monastery in the American Colonies.  I hope you can make a pilgrimage there sometime and know the kind of peace that surpasses all understanding. May it nestle in your hearts!
