I hope as time passes you will recall the many joys you shared with your wife and not just the sadness at the end, Cece. I am a friend of her father's, Richard Shelton, and have met her sister Nikki,  and know how much they loved her, and so I just wanted to say that I  wish you well, and safe keeping.

Anthony, our prayers are with you and your family. May God continue to strengthen you.

Cecilia was my second child and my youngest daughter.  I always loved her and was proud of her talent in graphics design.  Though she is deceased, she will forever live through the many beautiful graphic designs she created.  I am particularly grateful for the graphic design she created for the cover of my first novel and I am deeply grateful for the time we shared together up to her last breathe.  --  A father should never have to endure the pain of burying his daughter.  -- I love you Cecilia and I hope to see you soon.

Praying the comfort of God surrounds you as you go through this time of Cece's Homegoing.  Cece will always be remembered for our warmth and caring nature.  We will miss her dearly, however we know we will see her again.  Wishing we could be there to give you a hug but you are constantly in our prayers.  Love you Tony.

CeCe amazed me with her strength and courage.  She taught me a thing or two about life and the bible for which I am most grateful.  My tears are truly those of mixed emotion … sadness and joy all rolled into one.  Tony, you are simply inspiring. 

A lovely friend sent me this poem which comforts me … and hopefully you.

We thought of you with love today, but that was nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday and days before that too.
We think of you in silence and we often speak your name.
Now all we have are fond memories and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake with which we'll never part.

I was so very privileged to have been Cece's friend and colleague.  She was an incredibly smart, graceful, talented, caring and giving individual. She worked tirelessly, even up to her last days, to make METAvivor the successful non-profit it is today.  Words cannot express how deeply she will be missed by myself and all of METAvivor.  My heart goes out to her caring and devoted husband, Tony, and to her parents, her aunt and uncle and the many, who loved her so dearly.

The METAvivor group will miss Cece deeply. I admired her strength as she gracefully dealt with one chemotherapy after another. She worked tirelessly on our website, even up to the end.
