Bess Keiler of Bowie, Maryland passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018. Bess is the wife of the late Nathan Keiler; mother of Laura Keiler Topper and Jonathan F. Keiler and his wife Deborah; sister of the late Ruth and Arthur Hyams; grandmother of Jacob and Nathaniel Topper. Bess was a graduate of Bowie State College. She worked at the UN for years before marrying and raising two children. Thereafter she served as Bowie State's Graduate Registrar, and then for many more years as an executive secretary. Bess was smart, quirky and not afraid to hilariously make fun of herself. We will miss you Bess. Rest in peace.
