William G. Locke

LOCKE, William “Bill” G. 95 of Pocasset, MA passed away on July 6, 2024 at Royal Megansett Nursing Home in Falmouth, MA. He was born to the late William G. Locke and Gladys (Reed) Locke in Medford, MA on April 29, 1929.

Bill graduated from Needham high school in 1947 and entered the Navy. He later attended Northeastern University. He achieved his masters in library science at Suny Geneseo. He worked and retired from Lawyers Cooperative Publishing Company in Rochester, New York. He was a mason and a member of the Cawnacome Sunshine Lodge. He was active in local civic affairs. He loved pet sitting and taking care of all of his furry companions.

He is survived by his loving wife Ann Locke (Swigart). His children: Kathy Jean Locke Aghaghiri, John and Debra Locke, and Karen Marshall. His surviving grandchildren; Mary Beth Taylor, Matthew Sperber, Sara Jane Dube, Stacy Bilodeau, and Julie Marshall Izzo. Also survived by 11 great grandchildren.

Burial at Massachusetts National Cemetery is private.
