Born in Brockton, Brian grew up on Cape Cod and lived in Abington where he graduated in 1963. After graduation, Brian joined the Navy and was stationed in Villa France on the USS Springfield CLG-7, which was the flagship of the Sixth Fleet. After the Navy, he worked for Angelo's Supermarkets becoming Manager of the meat department and eventually Store Manager. He stayed in this industry until he retired.
Brian loved dancing and all types of music especially rock 'n' roll. He was an avid sports fan and loved to play golf. Brian enjoyed watching Jeopardy and often answered questions before the contestants.
He leaves his wife Bette (Snell) of 58 years, two sons, William B Fader, Jr. of Buzzards Bay, and Derek Fader of Monument Beach. Brian loved and enjoyed his four grandchildren, Cassidy and Corynn Fader of Pocasset, Jacob Fader of Centerville, and Emily Fader of Monument Beach. Also survived by his sister Paula Fader Moon and her husband Harvey of Virginia.
Visiting Hours will be held on Tuesday April 8th from 4-7pm, at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd. Bourne, MA. A Mass of Christian burial will be on Wednesday April 9th, 10am at St. John of the Evangelist Parish, 841 Shore Rd. Pocasset, Ma. Burial will follow at Massachusetts National Cemetery, 1:15pm.
