Tina Bevilacqua passed away on May 2, 2017, she will be in heaven with her husband and the love of her life Vittiro (Victor) Bevilacqua and her youngest daughter Caroline Bevilacqua. She is survived by her children Julia Ross-Golen, Victoria Butler, Elena Bevilacqua, Rosanna Nikolaidis, Gina Bevilacqua, Josephine Bevilacqua, and her son Nicolas Bevilacqua who have been lifelong residence of Buzzards Bay. Tina is also survived by her 18 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Tina immigrated from Italy after surviving World War II, she settled in Boston where she was a master seamstress on Newbury St. In a whirl wind romance she met then married her beloved Victor on August 15, 1954. From there, they made their large Italian family and eventually settled in Buzzards Bay where she became known to the town as “Nonnie” (Grandmother in Italian). Tina is well known for Italian cooking and her love of children. She remained in Buzzards Bay until she passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones.

Visiting hours are being held from 9- 12PM on Saturday May 6th at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd. Bourne, MA. A Funeral Mass will follow at 12:30PM at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Parish, 841 Shore Rd, Pocasset, MA.
