“Hollywood Steve” of Lake Havasu City, AZ
Born on January 28, 1950, and passed away unexpectedly on September 19, 2021, due to complications from Covid.
He is survived by his son Jeffrey S. Goodwin and Daughter-in-law Jennifer (Durling) Goodwin of CA .
His Daughter Alicia E. Frye (Goodwin) and son in law David “DJ” Frye of MA.
His sister Michelle Goodwin Panagiotes and brother in law Thomas “Tom” Panagiotes
And a Brother Mark Goodwin.
His Grandchildren- Falicia, Mariah, Evelyn, and Noah
His Great Grandchildren- Elijah, Jeremiah, and Myziah
Nieces:Tiffany and Fancy Nephews:Matthew and Jason
First wife and mother of his children Patricia Bartel
And of course his loyal dog Ruby ❤️
Steve is now reunited in heaven with the love of his life- his wife,Kimberly Jo Ann Larsen Goodwin, who passed away in 2016.
Predeceased by his loving parents Wendell “Bill” and Evelyn Goodwin , and his step son Brett Dominici.
Born in Cambridge,MA
Graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School in Tewksbury,MA.
Attended Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill, MA .
Served in the National Guard in the 70’s.
Worked in Sales and Marketing most of his life.
He lived in Townsend, MA before fulfilling his dreams of moving to California where he resided for 43 years.
Steve and his wife, “Kimmy Jo”owned Ride On Motorcycles shop in Vallejo CA.
In 2020, Steve retired and built a beautiful home in Lake Havasu City AZ, known as the “Hollywood Resort” where he enjoyed entertaining his family and friends.
Steve was a free spirit that always lived life to the fullest. He loved fast cars, boats,Razor side by side rides in the desert, guns, trips to the dog park with Ruby, nickel poker nights , his Harley and motorcycle rides with his buddies. He also was a member of “Boyz Under the Hood”, a classic car club in Vallejo, CA.
His friends will miss seeing his daily driver, a yellow 1955 Ford F100 around town that he had also taken on multiple road trips across the country. Most recently to York, Maine and Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
He loved to travel and saw pretty much all of North America. He made many loyal friends wherever he went and considered most of them his family. He was known as a man that was always a “good time” to be around and made every encounter memorable. Steve was a very special person with a heart of gold and will be missed by everyone that was blessed to know him .❤️
A graveside service will be held in his honor on October 30, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Hillside Cemetery.
