Spencer Taft King Jr. passed away peacefully January 21 at the Cape Heritage Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Sandwich, MA. Spencer was born in East Hartford, CT December 14th, 1938, the only son, and youngest child of the late Lora (Urquhart) King and the late Spencer Taft King. Spencer is survived by his wife, Deaca Bell and his two daughters Caia and Mali. Spencer was predeceased by his sisters Dorothy Charest, Marion Michaelson, Grace Nelson, and Eleanor Smith. Spencer divided his time between his homes in Cape Cod, MA, and San Jose, Costa Rica where he met his wife Deaca and had many successful business ventures. During Spencer’s tenure as President and CEO of IESC, Spencer traveled the world as an accomplished International Consultant some of these successes were in Sri Lanka, Egypt, Asia/Near East, and Costa Rica/Central America. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation or any organization actively working on finding the cure for Parkinson’s.
