Rebecca Ann Cotton

She was born Rebecca Ann Cotton on February 17, 1990, the daughter of James C. Cotton and Monna L. Jones. She grew up in Bourne and graduated from Bourne High School in 2008.

Becky enjoyed being on the cheerleading squad, swimming, and hanging out with her friends. She loved listening to music and watching movies. She aspired one day to be a Marine Biologist.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother Monna Jones of Bourne, her father and step-mother James and Lynn Cotton of Buzzards Bay. Sisters; Jessica Doyle of Attleboro, Olivia Cotton of Bourne, Ashlie Stoddard of Dennis, and Aubrey Collins of Bourne. Also surviving are her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Calling hours with the family will be Sunday, March 6, from 1:00PM to 3:00PM, with a memorial service starting at 2:30, at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd., Bourne, MA 02532. Cremation will follow.

In lieu of flowers, Becky’s family suggest memorials be made in her name to, The Hospital for Sick Children Foundation, Atten: Dr. Minassian Lafora Disease Research, 555 University Ave., Toronto, ON M5G 1X8.
