Patricia Ann Faber

FABER, Patricia Ann (Burley),62, of Sutton, formerly of Sagamore, passed away on August 4, 2023 at UMASS Hospital in Worcester, MA surrounded by her family. She was born to Ruth H. Dubeski in Stoughton, MA on June 3, 1961.

Patty grew up in Buzzards Bay and attended Bourne High School. She later worked at Sutton High School as a special education teacher and took great joy in helping all the kids she worked with over the years. She went above and beyond her teaching responsibilities, and thought of her students as family. Most recently she worked as a Wilson Reading Specialist in Providence.

Most of all Patty loved her two sons, family, and friends so much, including her “furbabies” Bella and Dez. She loved to make memories; big parties and holidays, carrying on family traditions, coming up with new games, Carribean vacations, rooting for the Chicago Bears, and spending quality time. Patty was known for her obsession with Bon Jovi and 80’s Rock ‘n’ Roll. She made sure to always live life to the fullest and did everything she could to create lasting memories for her two sons and loved ones.

She is survived by her son's; Kyle Faber and fiancée Rochelle Desruisseaux of Sutton, MA, Ryan Faber of North Providence, RI. Her mother Ruth H. Dubeski of Buzzards Bay, MA. Siblings; Jeff, Mike, Ken, and Cath. Nephews/Nieces: Jason, Chris, Dave, Kelly, Nicole, Samantha, Matt, Christina and Her “BFFs”: Ellen, Lisa, Denise, Ruthie, and Linda.

She was predeceased by her brother Chris Burley and missed him dearly.

Visitation will be held Thursday August 10th from 10am-12pm at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd. Bourne, MA.

A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 12:30 pm, St. Margaret's Parish, 141 Main St. Buzzards Bay, Burial will follow at Oakland Grove Cemetery.
