Kevin Gerald O"Connell

Kevin G. O’Connell, age 62 of Bourne, died June 5th , 2011 ending a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. Kevin was surrounded by family and friends at Cape Heritage Nursing Home where he was a well cared for resident for many years. Kevin was born in Dorchester and graduated Charlestown High from the electrical program. Kevin was a member of the National Guard. Kevin had a great 23 year career working for Atlas Alarm Corp. Kevin was a continuing member of the Knights of Columbus in Buzzards Bay. Kevin always enjoyed a good movie, fun music and most of all cars. Kevin married his wife Pauline(LeBlanc) O’Connell in August 1971. They had a daughter Kerry and moved from Boston to Carver. Then they found a home on Cape Cod and moved there. Kevin is survived by his wife Pauline (LeBlanc) O’Connell, daughter Kerry MacDonald, her husband Jared MacDonald, two grandchildren Patrick and Meagan MacDonald, and his sister Eileen O’Connell of Quincy. Kevin’s wonderful personality gained him many friends along his journey in life. Kevin will be missed by his family and friends, including those who cared for him at Cape Heritage. A special thanks to all of you!! Services will be held on Saturday, July 16th at 10 am at St. Peters Episcopal Church on the Canal, 165 Main St. Buzzards Bay.
