Karen Ann Forlivesi (Nangle), 72, passed away on January 13, 2021 at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth. Karen was born on June 18, 1948 in Plymouth. She was the daughter of the late Charles & Marjorie (Brown) Nangle.
She leaves behind her husband of 52 years, Raoul F. Forlivesi, Sr. of Plymouth, and her children Charlene Forlivesi of Bourne and Jody Forlivesi of Plymouth, step-children Tammy Forlivesi Staiger of Bournedale, Raoul Forlivesi, Jr. of Buzzards Bay, the late Lisa Forlivesi Amaral of Bournedale, her granddaughter Allie Mae Forlivesi of Plymouth, and her brother William Nangle of Forestdale and her late sister Sally Gibbs of Buzzards Bay.
Karen was a Bourne High School graduate of 1967. She worked for 25 years at a job she loved in the healthcare field caring for patients at Cape Heritage Nursing Home in Sandwich, Massachusetts. She enjoyed making her patients laugh and always tried to be a bright spot in their day. When she wasn’t working, she loved going for family camping trips. She was a loving mother, a proud grandmother, and will be missed dearly by her loved ones.
The family of Karen will have a private burial at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association in Karen’s memory.
