Julia DiLorenzo Webster, 86, of Stuart, FL, passed away on September 3, 2019 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Fort Pierce. Born in South Boston, Massachusetts, Julia traveled the country during her military career as a United States Naval Captain when she was finally stationed in Jacksonville, Florida. She moved to the Treasure Coast area several years ago, along with her husband, Dick. Julia graduated in the top 5% of her class from South Boston High School and received a full scholarship to the University of Boston where she received her Bachelors of Arts degree. She later received her Master’s degree from UCLA. As a Naval Captain, Julia was the 2nd in Command at the Newport Officers Candidate School in Newport, Maine, and was the Director of Area 5 recruiting throughout the South West States. She was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. She was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Stuart, as well as member of the Columbiettes. Julia also participated in the Bible study group at St. Andrew, and was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Society. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Richard Webster of Stuart, Florida; his daughter, Holly Keene (Josh) and their three children, as well as her brother and his wife, Rocky and Judy DiLorenzo of Dedham, Massachusetts. Julia is also survived by her niece, Lisa and nephew, Michael. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2019 from 4:00-6:00PM at Aycock Funeral Home in Stuart. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 9, 2019 at 11:00AM at St. Andrew Catholic Church. Julia will be laid to rest with full military honors at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA at a later date.
