John "Jack" Charles Jones

John grew up in Brighton and graduated from St. Columbkille’s High School in Brighton, MA.

He served in the U.S. Coast Guard for 4 years. After his service he worked in sales for office products companies for over 30 years. Jack, as he was known by his clients, loved being a sales professional and was very proud of his accomplishments serving the many businesses across Cape Cod. An avid golfer, Dad enjoyed playing golf with his lifelong friends from Brighton, his two boys, extended family, clients and an occasional celebrity or two. Dad especially enjoyed body surfing with family at Long Sands Beach in York Maine and Old Silver Beach in North Falmouth. Forged over 75 years, Dad’s many friends from Brighton were cherished and meant the world to him. Over the past 20 years, dad‘s greatest joy was spending time with his six grandchildren and showering them with special gifts and extra money for getting good grades on their report cards. The grandchildren loved their Grampy.

He is survived by his loving wife Diane with whom shared 54 years in marriage. His sons; Craig Jones and his wife Helena of Sagamore Beach, MA, Matthew Jones and his wife Sarah of Fairhaven, MA. Grandchildren; Maren, Rees, Eliana, Avery, Tyler and Tatum Jones. John is survived by his brother Richard and predeceased by his sister, Carole Kelly, brothers, Robert and Paul

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday April 4, 2023 at 10am, St John of the Evangelist Parish, 841 Shore Rd. Pocasset, MA, burial will follow at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA.
