Jim loved fishing, boating and bonfires on the beach at their beach house on Cape Cod Bay. He was also a great fan of all the Boston teams, especially the Patriots and the Bruins.
He was predeceased by his parents, his brother Robert C. Newell and his step-son Raymond G. Letourneau, Jr.
