Gloria Amelia Gregory

She was the beloved wife of Michael T. Gregory for 64 years. Born in Brockton, Mrs. Gregory was a Registered Nurse, graduated from Carney Hospital School of Nursing in Dorchester. She was an RN at the Mildred Alford Nursing Home in Abington, a Nursing Supervisor at the Del Manor Nursing Home in Rockland, then Director of Nurses at South Shore Nursing in Rockland. She was a Supervisor of Nurses at St Joseph’s Manor in Brockton until her retirement. Gloria was a member of the Sons of Italy in Rockland. Gloria enjoyed cooking for her large family and gardening. They have resided in Sandwich for the past 30 years.

In addition to her husband, Gloria is survived by her daughter, Anne-Marie Frazer and her husband William of Mattapoisett, son Michael J. Gregory and his wife Sue Ellen of Quincy, daughter Karen Bulger and her husband Patrick of Missouri, son Francis Gregory and his wife Terry of Greenfield and her brother, John Catrambone, of Norwell. Gloria was sister to the late Tina Donahue of Brockton and brother, Sal Catrambone, of Dennis. Gloria was a loving grandmother of sixteen and great-grandmother to five. She will be greatly missed.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, Jan. 9 at 10:00 AM, Corpus Christ Church, 324 Quaker Meeting House Rd., Sandwich. Visiting Hours are Sunday from 2:00 – 5:00 PM, Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 154 Rt.6A, Sandwich, MA. She will be laid to rest at the Mass. National Cemetery, Bourne at 2:00 PM.
