Gerald Vaughn Grant

Gerald, better known as “Jerry” was born to the late Gerald and Grace (Turner) Grant on June 17, 1937 in Waterville, Maine. Jerry graduated from Roxbury Memorial High School in 1956. He then served in the U.S. Navy from 1958-1962.

After working a few years, Jerry relocated to Richmond, VA where he earned a Business Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in June 1970. He also earned a Teaching Degree from VCU in August 1994.

Throughout his entire life, Jerry loved working on and restoring antique cars. While living in Bourne, Jerry was an active member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and was an altar server for a number of years.

Jerry is survived by his wife Cheryl Grant, his son Matthew Grant and his stepdaughter Caite Craddock.

Services will be at St. John the Evangelist in Pocasset on Wednesday March 6, 2024 at 10:00 am with Burial at Massachusetts National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m.
