Elaine Marie Munroe

Elaine Marie Munroe (Struble), 71, from Somerville, MA passed away peacefully on Friday February 22, 2013. The daughter of the late Walter and Dorothea (O'Brien) Struble of Somerville and Buzzards Bay, MA. She attended St. Clements School in Cambridge and was a member of the St. Catherine's Church Marching Band.She was employed at Symmes Hospital in Arlington, MA for 26 years as a Senior Emergency Room Technician. She enjoyed watching golf, the Food Channel and solving crossword puzzles. Elaine was the beloved mother of Janis Munroe Conlan and her husband Jeffrey from Salem, NH, Barry and his wife Helen from Windham, NH and Robert Munroe from Orlando, FL. She is the sister of Dorothy Donahue and her husband Richard from Marlborough, MA Arlene Martin and her husband Alfonso from Lowell, MA and the late Walter Struble. III. She was an adoring grandmother to 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Christopher, Alexa and Olivia Munroe Windham, NH. Jeffrey Conlan and his wife Nora Haverhill, MA, their children Laurel and Anthony, Michael Conlan and his wife Amanda Leominister, MA their children Joseph, Patrick, Thomas, Anna and Jessica. Kristin Conlan, Salem, NH. Meagan Caudill and her husband Jarrod, Crest View, FL. their children Brayden, Cameron and Jaxon. Robin Wesley and her husband Carlton, Orlando FL.Robert Munroe, Yahala, FL She is also survived many loving nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday February 27th from 9 to 10 am at the Nickerson Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd, Bourne. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 am at St. Margarets Church, 141 Main St. Bourne. Family and friends are invited.
