Elaine F. Ellis, of Bourne, MA, passed away on January 30, 2024 after a long illness at Atria.
She was the daughter of Ralph and Ester Ellis (Griffith) of Bourne, MA.
Elaine graduated from Bourne High School. She then went on to work for AT&T all across New England. Elaine enjoyed gardening and working on her family’s cranberry bogs. One of her favorite activities was going on walks with her dog and visiting with her friends.
She is survived by her sister Virginia and husband Charles Vining; her nephew Michael Vining; as well as many cousins and close friends.
Visiting hours will be held from 4:00PM to 8:00 PM on February 28th at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home 40 Macarthur Blvd, Bourne, MA 02532. Burial to follow at the Sagamore Cemetery in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society in Elaine’s memory.
