Edward M. Mack, 70, of Bourne passed away after a long battle with cancer at the Life Care Center in Plymouth, MA. on August 18th 2019. He was born on June 2, 1949 to the late George and Mildred Mack (Valtierra) in Boston MA.
Ed, graduated from South Boston High School where he played football which led him to be an avid Pats fan! Ed was a Local Union 17 sheet metal worker and a U.S Marine Vietnam Veteran who was stationed in Da Nang Vietnam. He is preceded in passing by his parents, and his brother, Michael Mack. He is survived by his children Jessica Mack of Plymouth and her daughter Madison Mack, his son Keith Mack of Plymouth and his children Olivia and Jake Mack.
He is survived by his sister Maureen and her husband Ray Schulze and their daughter Heidi of South Boston MA. He was also survived and loved by many other cousins, family, and friends such as Albert Haggerty and his wife Pat of Maine and Susan Goonan and her husband Raymond of MA. He was a loving Dad, Son, Husband, Cousin, Uncle, Brother, Friend and most importantly the best Papa.
A funeral service will be held on Monday August 26th at 12pm at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd. Bourne, MA. Visiting hours will be held morning of from 11-12pm, burial will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
