I will always remember Gram as the quintessential grandmother. She was smart, energetic, fun, and always looked so sharp! Although many miles separated us for most of my life, I always remember visiting “back east” as a homecoming. I could see, hear and feel the family connections in her face, gestures, a laugh, and in the family around us. I will always cherish the time I was able to spend with her and I am so glad that Katie was able to meet her. We will remember and miss her.

A wonderful women will certainly be missed. She was like a mother to me especially as a teenager. I know her family will really miss her especially Debbie. She will still be with you looking down from heaven. God bless all.

Deb...So sorry to hear about your Mom's passing. I had met her several times, with you, many years ago. She seemed like a lovely lady. How wonderful for her to have lived such a long life w/her loved ones. I'm sure you will carry special, loving memories of your beautiful mom...forever. God Bless.

Sorry to hear your mom has passed. I have many fond memories as a child  waiting while your mom fixed Neil his morning breakfast singing songs. Then we would head down to the meadow to find and shoot the bad guys. She was a wonderful lady and will be missed.

Neat, sweet and petite - that was "Grammy" Doris to me - a grand lady who always showed me such love and kindness.  She was a hard worker and a devoted mother who raised wonderful and caring children.  Such a blessing that she was able to be at home with her family until the end of her long life!
