In 1948, Dolores married her true sweetheart, Lawrence A Dunlap. A lifetime of happiness included four children. Dolores was a retired telephone operator from AT&T.
Mrs. Dunlap’s most endearing and favorite endeavor was that of being a mother. Always willing to listen and lend advice when needed, she was the one to be counted upon in time of need. Dolores was extremely generous and offered great hospitality to all family, friends and strangers alike.
Dolores leaves behind her three children: Donna Seder, Gail DeYoung and John; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Lawrence A, and her son, Lawrence A. Jr.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 am until the time of her Celebration of Life at 11:30 am on Friday, July 26, 2013 in the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd. in Bourne. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
