David O’Neil of Pocasset, died on January 24, 2017, surrounded by his family. Born in Wareham, MA and raised in Monument Beach and Buzzards Bay, he was the son of the late Gertrude (Bradford) O’Neil.
David leaves behind his wife of 42 years, Sherry (Fontneau) O’Neil, and daughters Lindsay A. and Julie M. O’Neil. He also leaves his brothers John O’Neil of Monument Beach and Patrick O’Neil of Oregon, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased in death by his sister Frances Powers, and brothers William O’Neil, Thomas O’Neil, Karl Bradford and Gilbert Bradford.
Friends and relatives are invited to say their goodbyes to David on Friday, February 3, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm with a short remembrance following calling hours at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd., Bourne, MA 02532.
