David Wendell Margolis, 72, of Falmouth Massachusetts passed away at the Bourne Manor on October 22, 2024. He was born to the late Ronald and Elizabeth (Brigham) Margolis in Boston, Massachusetts on December 5, 1951.
David graduated from a Vocational High School in Sharon, Massachusetts. He worked his entire life as an automobile upholster. He specialized in restoration of classic cars, many of them having appeared in national magazines.
David also served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He earned the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and Vietnam Service Medal.
David was a Motorcycle enthusiast and loved riding his Harley. When his motorcycling days ended, he turned to race cars. He owned a dragster and entered weekend races in Epping NH. He also had a love for fishing, especially bass fishing where he won many contests.
His biggest passion was his family. He deeply loved his children and grandchildren.
David was predeceased by his parents, brother Paul and sister Robin. Also Frederick (Unkie) Lawson, Margaret (Auntie) Lawson and Alex (Pal) Garellis.
He is survived by son David Breier, his three daughters: Taryn Margolis, Elizabeth Margolis and Mary Margolis. His brother Robert B Margolis, sister Cheryl A Margolis and four grandsons: James, Michael, Jacob and Jaiden.
David will be interred at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne Massachusetts on November 15, 2024 at 1:15pm
